The Snuggly Story 

 

The idea for All Snuggled Up was born just after I gave birth to my third baby, Zadie in 2014. While I was on maternity leave and away from my day job in entertainment, I volunteered at Baby2Baby, a local non-profit organization for children in Los Angeles that distributes new and used baby gear and clothing through a network of community-based organizations.  I spent several days sorting items in the warehouse and helped organize and prepare for a back to school event for young children.  At the event, I was able to help kids paint, sing songs with them, play games, eat lunch and talk with them and see the big smiles on their faces when they each received a backpack for school.  

 

I was profoundly impacted by my experience volunteering there that summer. I knew then I wanted to do something for children that might have an impact on their lives and cause them to smile a little brighter.  

 

I started All Snuggled Up, a social business created to positively impact children and families. With every purchase of a handmade, soft and cuddly blanket or item of clothing, we donate one to children in need to Baby2Baby in Los Angeles. 

 

As a mom of three young children, I believe that every child deserves to be All Snuggled Up in love.
